K–12 math program tailored to each student’s grade and skill level—from foundational number sense through algebra and beyond. Small groups, real problem-solving, and measurable progress.
Course Description
MathWiz is a single K–12 mathematics program designed around each student—not a one-size-fits-all class. When you enroll, we use the grade and profile already on your child’s account (and their current skill level) to place them in the right content pathway, whether they are building early number sense, strengthening pre-algebra, advancing through algebra and geometry, or preparing for higher-level work and standardized tests. Instruction follows rigorous frameworks (including Common Core and Singapore Math approaches where appropriate) and emphasizes investigative reasoning, word problems, and real-world applications. Learning is reinforced through homework, quizzes, tests, and assessments. Students work in level-based groups aligned to proficiency and consistently demonstrate progress on measures such as CogAT and MAP, with readiness for school coursework and exams including MCA, MAP, ACT, and PSAT/SAT pathways as they advance. Offered with flexible weekday and weekend options at St. Barnabas and PCC in Plymouth.
